Suzanne attended the University of North Texas School of Music for three years where she studied Music Education and Vocal Performance with Patti Johnstone and Juanita Peters.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Child Development and Music Education from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas in 1985.
Attended the 2004 Broadway Teaching Lab: A three-day intensive series of interactive workshops, seminars and observation with Broadway professionals in New York City. This program is intended to inspire arts teachers and directors of high school and middle school theatre with new teaching methods, enhanced production skills, and an exchange of ideas with professional Broadway artists. www.broadwayclassroom.com
